Robotic glove

USA Today, KVUE ABC (Austin, Texas) and WMAZ-TV (Macon, Ga.) reported on a team of researchers from The University of Texas at Arlington Research Institute who have developed a new prototype robotic glove to help stroke patients.

New division head

Sam Hout, who earned his Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from UT Arlington, was named to spearhead construction management company Gafcon’s new transportation division, PWMag and Informed Infrastracture reported.

UTA grad named city manager

Cliff Keheley, who began his career with the city of Mesquite as a student working on his master’s degree in public administration from UT Arlington, will be take over as city manager in just weeks, reported.

Interior designer recognized

The National Association of Professional Women (NAPW) honored Debbie Missimo as a 2015-2016 inductee into its VIP Woman of the Year Circle for leadership in interior design, StreetInsider, and reported. Missimo earned her associate degree in art and interior design from UT Arlington.
