UTA Adds more hands-on demonstrations, exhibits at Main St. Arts Festival

UTA's Jazz Brunch draws a lively crowd

UTA expands its presence at this year's Main St. Arts Festival with more information, demonstrations, and hands-on experiences. The fair is Thursday-Sunday, April 20-23, along Main Street in downtown Fort Worth. Attendance is free.

The only four-year university at the festival, UTA will have exciting presentations at the exhibit tent at Fourth and Main streets. Watch 3-D printing on Thursday or robotics demonstrations Friday. Play “Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader?” on Saturday and participate in health screenings and science experiments Sunday.

Enjoy food, fellowship, and special seating at the Jazz Brunch when the UTA jazz groups play 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, April 22, on the UTA Main Stage at Ninth and Main streets. Cost is $20 per guest and free for ages 5 and younger. Register by Friday, April 21.

The UTA Jazz Combo performs at noon Sunday, April 23, on the Frost Stage at Seventh and Main streets.

Make plans to visit UTA’s events at Main St. Arts Festival. All events are at the UTA Exhibit tent, which is centrally located in Sundance Square, unless noted otherwise.
