New program offers educational requirements to become a Certified Financial Planner

ARLINGTON - The Division for Enterprise Development, Continuing Education at The University of Texas at Arlington has announced it will now offer the Certified Financial Planner™ Certification Education Program.

Starting March 2008, Continuing Education will begin to offer classes that satisfy the educational requirements to sit for the CFP® Examination. The program is built around materials created by the College of Financial Planning, widely recognized as one of the premier educational institutions for the CFP® Board’s educational requirement.The instructors are experienced professionals and have been carefully selected to provide the highest quality of instruction for our students. They have earned either the CFP® certification or other appropriate professional licenses or designations. The Certified Financial Planner™Certification Education Program is designed so that students can complete the requirements in approximately 21-24 months. Discounts are available for multiple enrollments.

Introduction to the Financial Planning Process will begin March 11.
