UTA brings an innovative, experimental and engaging hands-on experience to this year’s Main St. Fort Worth Arts Festival Thursday, April 19 through Sunday, April 22. Attendance is free and is located along Main Street in downtown Fort Worth. The festival will feature 18 blocks of food, fun, music and art that includes activities for all ages.

An exclusive university partner of the festival, UTA will showcase dynamic learning environments with exciting presentations from the various colleges on campus at the exhibit tent in the center of Sundance Square, between Fourth and Main streets.

Watch embroidery and 3-D printing on Thursday or expand your knowledge with UTA’s Racing team and their Formula SAE racing car on Friday. Play “Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader?” and interact with the College of Science ambassadors as they showcase explosive science experiments on Saturday.

On Sunday, the School of Social Work will have carnival games for all the family to enjoy and you can watch a human-robotic interaction demonstration with “Jibo the Robot” and more.

Enjoy delicious food, fellowship and special seating at the Jazz Brunch where the UTA jazz groups perform live 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. Saturday, April 21, on the UTA Main Stage at Ninth and Main streets. Tickets are $20 per guest and free for ages 5 and younger. Register by April 17, 2018 by visiting the following link: https://alumni.uta.edu/alumni/events/2018-jazz-brunch.
