UTA serving Hispanic students

UTA has emerged as one of the top 100 colleges for Hispanic students, according to The Hispanic Outlook on Education Magazine, The Fort Worth Star Telegram reported. Nationally ranked in three categories, UTA comes in at No. 5 in architecture degrees, No. 24 in total graduate degrees and No. 26 in total enrollment.

Karbhari speaks at international symposium

Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB), hosted UTA President Vistasp Karbhari at a symposium on its campus in Dhaka’s Bashundhara on September 6, the Bangladesh Post and other media outlets reported. According to Karbhari, educating beyond classrooms, creating lifelong educational paths, ensuring students’ success, cultivating faculty and staff and serving the community near and far should be the prime objectives for creditable universities. 

Public Administration rankings

OnlineCollegePlan ranked UTA No. 9 in its 2019 Top 30 Online Master’s of Public Administration rankings. The ranking was compiled using a variety of statistics that serve as indicators of the school’s reputation, availability of faculty, price, and flexibility for graduate students.

Study on price and quality of product

A study by Narayanan Janakiraman, UTA assistant professor of marketing in the College of Business, published in the Journal of Marketing shows that marketers of relatively high-priced products should consider keeping prices high, as many consumers associate increased cost with greater quality, PuroMarketing reported. Janakiraman said these same consumers equate lower prices with lower quality.
