Ransomware addressed

Jingguo Wang and Kay-Yut Chen, two professors in UT Arlington’s College of Business, talked about the different tactics public school districts might employ against ransomware, the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reported. Wang and Chen published a study last year looking at what leads businesses to decide to pay ransom or not.

 

Political districts

Thomas Marshall, UT Arlington political science professor, said Texas voters should probably not look for any major changes to districting maps, KERA 90.1 FM reported. Marshall said political districts will likely stay the same for the next decade.

 

Mental strain showed
Sophia Fantus, assistant professor in the UT Arlington School of Social Work, has shown through recent research the mental strain and moral distress experienced by health care chaplains and social workers in the course of their professional duties, Targeted News Service reported.
