UTA Hosts First 60x30TX Conference in North Texas

The Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board's bold 60x30TX challenge sets a lofty goal: 60 percent of the 25- to 34-year old Texas population will have a degree or certificate by 2030.

In partnership with the THECB, UTA hosted the first North Texas gathering to begin the conversation about how to achieve these goals.

More than 200 attendees heard from Texas Higher Education Commissioner Raymund Paredes, Education Trust CEO Kati Haycock, and Interim UTA Provost Linda Johnsrud.
