UTA Breaks Ground on SEIR Building

Texas elected leaders joined UTA President Vistasp Karbhari, Vice President of Research Duane Dimos, and other administrators at the official groundbreaking of the Science and Engineering Innovation and Research Building on October 27, 2016.

The $125 million dollar facility will be built with an innovative design that will foster collaborative life and health science research in critical areas such as aging, cancer, neuroscience, and bioengineering. Construction is expected to be complete in 2018.
