System Information
UT Arlington's High Performance Computing environment combines multiple independent systems connected via a private high-speed network to solve complex problems in numerous disciplines. Our servers operate on Intel Core i7 processor (Nehalem) architectures and use Red Hat Enterprise Linux for their operating environment.
The HPC system utilizes a batch scheduling system with LSF's "fairshare" algorithm to ensure proportional time on the cluster amongst all users.
