New Maverick Orientation is key to every new student's successful transition to UTA. Students will meet with an Academic Advisor and enroll in their first semester of courses at UTA. Your journey is about to begin!

All Summer Orientation Dates will be available starting February 2024!

Roadmap to New Maverick Orientation

Step 1 

 

Make Your Orientation Reservation & Complete Pre-Orientation Modules

Select your Orientation date and register include family members & guests to attend along with you. Complete your Pre-Orientation Modules prior to meeting with your Academic Advisor you are fully prepared for your advising appointment.

Step 2 

 

Meet with Your Academic Advisor & Resolve Any Holds on Your Account

Your Academic Advisor is eager to meet you to discuss your academic plans. Schedule an appointment and complete your Pre-Orientation Modules prior to your meeting. Check your MyMav account to see if you have any holds which need your attention.

Step 3 

 

Attend New Maverick Orientation & Register for Classes

We look forward to seeing you at Orientation! You will connect with other students, campus resources, and register for classes.
