New Student Steps to Enrollment

Register for Orientation and Complete Pre-Orientation Modules

After you are admitted to UTA, you will receive an invitation to register for orientation.

Then you should register for orientation, which includes completing a brief questionnaire, selecting your orientation date, and learning details for parents and family members.

After you register for orientation, you should complete your Pre-Orientation Modules as soon as possible prior to meeting with your academic advisor so you’re fully prepared for your advising appointment.

Meet with Your Academic Advisor & Navigate Any Holds on your Account

Schedule an appointment with your academic advisor based on your student type.

Remove Holds

Resolve other registration holds. Check your MyMav for any potential holds on your account to see if you have any holds which need your attention

Attend New Maverick Orientation & Register for Classes

On your orientation date, attend your orientation. At the orientation, you’ll connect with other students, campus resources, and register for classes.

The orientation session will give you opportunities to ask questions and connect with others. The Orientation Leaders are current students who serve as your guides through the process. They are excited to welcome you to UTA and help bring new students together. Plus, they will be available after orientation to answer any questions and help build connections to the UTA community.

Register for Orientation

Once you are admitted, you will receive an invitation to register for orientation. Register consists of brief questionnaire and payment of the orientation registration fee.

Complete your MAVSOnline Orientation modules through the MAVS Online system

Access to the MAVSOnline system will be available within 24 hours of your completed orientation registration.

Meet your advisor & Register for Classes

After your orientation, you can register for classes after meeting with your advisors.
