International document check-in – Visit the International Office Welcome Center with your passport and I-20 to complete your document check-in.
TSI requirements – Undergraduate students are required to complete the TSI test, unless otherwise exempt. Please see the TSI Website for detailed information.
Bacterial Meningitis Vaccination Requirement – The State of Texas requires that all incoming college students under 22 years old must be immunized against bacterial meningitis before they enroll in an institution of higher education. Please refer to the official UT Arlington Bacterial Meningitis website to learn more about completing the vaccination requirement.
Tuberculosis (TB) Screening Requirement – All new international students are required to complete a TB screening in the US within 12 months of the first day of class. The UTA Student Health Center offers TB screenings prior to each semester.
UTA email address – All University correspondence will be sent to your UTA email address, including New Maverick Orientation confirmation emails. Set-up your UT Arlington email address, and check it regularly.
Accepting Admission – All new students must formally accept their admission to UTA. Simply log into MyMav, visit your Student Center, and complete the steps under the Admissions tab.
UTA Registration Agreement – All students must complete the UTA Registration Agreement in MyMav prior to enrolling each semester. Log into MyMav, visit your Student Center, and click the UTA Registration Agreement link in your To-Do List.
You will receive a confirmation email three days before your orientation session through your UT Arlington email address. Please read this email carefully as it contains important check-in information.
