Be prepared for campus traffic and parking to cause detours and parking alterations because of Homecoming events. Find the game-day parking map here.
Visitor parking for all homecoming events will be in the Visitor Parking Garages located throughout campus. Follow the on-street visitor parking signs to find available parking. Paid-parking is required in visitor parking areas.
Thursday, November 7
5:00 a.m. – The alleyway between Park North and Park Central will close. Enter Park North from UTA Boulevard and Park Central from Center Street. All garages will remain open and available for permit holders and visitors.
Friday, November 8
8:30 a.m. – Spaniolo drive will close to allow for set up to begin for Saturday’s street festival and parade
6 p.m. – The Homecoming Bash begins at Texas Hall. Student permit holder parking is available in all lots surrounding Texas Hall after 5 p.m. with the exception of stalls marked as RESERVED. Follow on-site signage. Visitors or customers without permits can park in visitor parking lots including the visitor section of the West Campus garage.
6:30 p.m. – Lot F11 and Lot 38 will be used for The Alumni Gala parking starting at 5:00 p.m. Friday. Permit holders do not need to clear the lot before the event starts. After the Gala is complete, all vehicles must be cleared from Lot 38 and F11 to allow golf carts to stage for the parade Saturday morning.
Saturday, November 9
7 a.m. – W. Nedderman Drive will close for the Homecoming 5K run/walk/roll. Nedderman Drive entrances to West Campus Garage and Lot 34 will be closed. Incoming/exiting traffic will need to use the two entrances on the west side of the garage. The closure will include the section of Nedderman between UTA Boulevard and Greek Row.
1:30 p.m. – 5:15 p.m. – Parking is free in the College Park Garages. Come early and enjoy the street festival and cheer the UTA Lady Mavs in their game against Chicago State.
5:30 p.m. – Parking begins for the UTA Mavericks game against Tulsa. Parking is $10 per vehicle. Active permit holders park for free. License plate recognition (LPR) will be used to verify active permits.
