UTA asks that you Pardon Our Progress as the University begins a sustained construction period.
Construction plans include building the Science and Engineering Innovation and Research (SEIR) building, building a 1,500 space parking garage, removing some antiquated housing, constructing a new residence and dining facility on west campus, and addressing other needed campus improvements.
Thank you for your patience and understanding as the University works hard to meet the needs of employees, students, and the community.

WEST CAMPUS EXPANSION PROJECT
The parking garage is the first step in the west campus construction. Designed like the College Park District parking garages, the garage will be built in two parts. The first opened for the fall 2017 semester. The second will be open by December 2017.

A dining hall will be located between the Maverick Activities Center and the parking garage. The $21 million facility will feature an open concept with natural lighting and include a student union space on the second floor. Construction began in spring 2017. The dining hall will open for the fall 2018 semester.
Two residential halls will be built where Lot 33 West is located. Construction on a 500-bed residence hall in the south part of Lot 33 West began in late spring 2017. The second 500-bed residence hall will be north of the first building. The $30.8 million facility is scheduled to open in fall 2018.
The Parking and Transportation Office continues to work with the Office of Facilities Management to ensure parking improvements and expansions benefit the UTA community while minimally impacting day-to-day activities.

The GPS tracking TransLoc app for MavMover launched in November 2016. Coming in January 2018, we will migrate to the DoubleMap app to view the bus's location in real-time, get up to the minute predictive arrival times, and set yourself alerts for when you need to leave to catch the bus. Download the DoubleMap app on Google Play or iTunes, or visit the http://utarlington.doublemap.com/map/ webpage.
Anyone can use the free MavMover shuttle service to get around campus.
