CONHI PROPOSAL NOTICE OF INTENT (NOI) FORM

CONHI PROPOSAL NOTICE OF INTENT (NOI) FORM

TO DEVELOP A SPONSORED PROGRAM FOR EXTERNAL FUNDING

Established for use in the CONHI, FY 2014/2015.

Note: Please complete an NOI for each anticipated proposal submission.

Submission of a completed “Notice of Intent” (NOI) is required before a proposal will be submitted to a funding agency. A NOI should be submitted to the Center for Research and Scholarship (CRS) as soon as the faculty member makes the decision to develop the proposal or as quickly as possible thereafter. The NOI is a non-binding notification for the purpose of reserving time and services of the CRS and the Office of Research Administration to review the proposal. It is understood that information in the NOI may change and/or that a full proposal may not result. The CRS will use the NOI information to help the faculty member ensure that the proposal meets UT Arlington’s requirements, is responsive to the sponsoring agency’s guidelines, and is submitted by the deadline.

If an NOI is submitted to the CRS and the sponsor deadline date is less than 2-weeks from NOI submission date, the proposal will be at risk of NOT being submitted or submitted without a technical and compliance review. Thank you.
