George C. Campbell Endowed Scholarship
Applicants for George C. Campbell Endowed Scholarship should have a commitment to public administration. The scholarship, established for students at the Master’s level, gives preference to those seeking careers in city management. The scholarship was established in honor of former Arlington City Manager and School of Urban and Public Affairs alumnus George C. Campbell.
1. Applicants must be seeking careers in Public Administration at the School of Urban and Public Affairs
2. Applicants must provide two letters of recommendation – an academic recommendation from a university of higher education and a recommendation from an employer, preferably from the field of public administration. Should an applicant not have employment experience in public administration, a second academic letter of recommendation will be acceptable
3. Applicants must provide a short written essay regarding career goals and why a degree from the School of Urban and Public Affairs is important to fulfilling those goals
4. Applicants must be graduated from an accredited high school in the United States
