Notice of Intent (NOI) Form

TO DEVELOP A PROPOSAL FOR INTERNAL OR EXTERNAL FUNDING

Submission of a completed “Notice of Intent” (NOI) is required for any proposal that will be submitted to a funding agency. This includes internal (i.e., IRP, REP, iCAP) and external funding mechanisms.

This form should be submitted to the Office of Research and Professional Development (ORPD) as soon as the faculty member or student makes the decision to develop the proposal. The NOI is a non-binding notification for the purpose of allocating time and resources in the ORPD and the Office of Research Administration to review and submit the proposal. It is understood that information in the NOI may change and/or that a full proposal may not result. The ORPD will use this information to help ensure that the proposal meets UT Arlington’s requirements, is responsive to the sponsoring agency’s guidelines, and is submitted by the deadline.

Note: Please complete an NOI for each anticipated proposal submission.
