Student Government Member Application

Thank you for your interest in Student Government. We have multiple positions available in various committees.

Student Senate: Limited positions available based on your major. This group writes, researches, and votes on resolutions to suggest changes in university policies. Meets every Tuesday evening in the fall and spring at 6PM.

External Relations: Helps plan and implement Student Government events/programs, such as Maverick Opinion Board, Greet Your Government. Attempts to connect SG with the student body. Meets every Wednesday evening in the fall and spring at 6PM.

Legislative Relations: Helps plan and implement voter registration efforts and an early voting polling site on campus. Tracks legislation at the city and state level. Meets every Wednesday evening in the fall and spring at 6PM.

Election Supervisory Board: Helps plan and implement campus elections for Student Senate, Ambassadors, and Homecoming King/Queen. Meets every other Monday afternoon during the fall and spring at 3PM.
