Forum on the Wellbeing and Education of Urban Populations Friday, October 11, 2019 8:30 - 10:30 AM The Commons, Nueces Room West Campus Open to all Faculty and Staff Please join the President, Provost, and Deans for an informative and participatory forum on the following urban population issues: • Coping with social isolation, homelessness and drug dependency and deepening social connections and community for vulnerable populations • Enhancing and expanding bilingual education, English as a Second Language teaching and learning, and technology education Faculty will discuss their current efforts and research; participants will brainstorm possible solutions to issues; and future collaborations among multidisciplinary teams will be encouraged.
