Recently I had the opportunity to host the US India Chamber of Commerce board of directors for their first official visit to UT Arlington. The visit included a brief tour of the campus, with stops at the College of Business and College of Engineering. Over lunch we were able to discuss opportunities for collaboration and engagement with the Indian business community in North Texas.
Our students will receive the greatest benefit from this developing relationship, with the potential for internships, mentorships, scholarships, academic partnerships and other opportunities that will otherwise add to our student’s diverse experience here at UTA.
Based in Dallas, the US India Chamber was created by successful Americans of Indian origin who wanted to further encourage and facilitate trade between the United States and India.
