UT Arlington Night with the Rangers was a great success! A sold-out group of 200 UTA alumni and community supporters joined 450 students to cheer on the Texas Rangers as they defeated the Baltimore Orioles 4-1. This was an excellent opportunity for alumni to engage with each other and reconnect to UT Arlington.
I also had the pleasure to meet with alumnus Kelcy Warren, chairman & CEO of Energy Transfer Partners, his wife Amy and son Klyde during UT Arlington Night with the Rangers. Kelcy, who received his civil engineering degree from UTA, remains active with the university by serving on the President’s Advisory Council. Klyde threw the ceremonial first pitch for the game that evening.
