Cultivating Innovation

By encouraging a climate of relentless investigation, The University of Texas at Arlington is making major breakthroughs that will drive the economy and offer hope for future generations. Our new StartUp Lounge provides a collaborative environment that aims to bolster entrepreneurial efforts throughout North Texas. The recently launched Technology Education Academy uses assistive robots to encourage middle- and high-school students to pursue STEM fields. These bold initiatives are among the stories in this issue of UTA Impact that demonstrate the breadth and depth of UT Arlington’s scholarly pursuits while reinforcing our reputation as the model 21st century urban research university.
