I am an Ohio native and have lived in several other states before making Texas my home. I received my BSN from Kent State University, my ANP/MSN from George Mason University, and both my FNP and DNP from George Washington University. I have taught at both the pre-licensure and graduate levels at George Mason University, Wright State University and University of Texas at Arlington.
My clinical career spans critical care, ER, trauma, primary care, pediatrics, and homeless medicine. I enjoy working with underserved populations in a variety of clinical settings. I am currently employed as part time UTA faculty in the graduate Family Nurse Practitioner Program and full time at John Peter Smith Health Network in Fort Worth, Tx.
In my spare time, I enjoy being with my family, staying active with cycling and running, and riding the family's 2 horses.
