NURS 5319 - Advanced Pharmacology for Nurse Educators
Advanced Pharmacology for Nurse Educators is a course designed to enrich the student’s knowledge of pharmacotherapeutics. Specific classes of drugs will be examined weekly, and pharmacologic plans of care will be evaluated. Students will present a power point presentation to the entire class to augment their expertise in education. The pharmacologic education ranges from ensuring those patients and/or their support systems understand their pharmacologic plan of care, to presenting educational offerings to colleagues at local, state, and national professional nursing conferences.
