Clinical Assistant Professor at College of Nursing and Health Innovation

I am a Clinical Nurse Specialist & Family Nurse Practitioner specializing in primary care and occupational health.  My experience ranges from owning my own Rural Health Clinic, serving as the only health care provider for a rural community, to managing a team of health care providers serving the underserved in the first convenient care centers in Dallas and across the South.  I have served on State and National committees to improve the health of citizens and communities.  I have been the recipient of a 1.2 million dollar HRSA grant, and various other funding sources.  I have presented at local, State, National and International venues, and I have a passion for my profession.  I consider it an honor and a privilege to be able to facilitate the learning of my fellow Nurses.
