This course addresses the need for health awareness and health promotion for individuals, families, and communities. It also discusses the nurse’s role in health promotion. Registered Nurses only. This web-enhanced course provides opportunities to gain knowledge about primary prevention in health care. Health promotion is increasingly important because of the need for health professionals who are competent in practicing prevention and promoting healthy lifestyles.
