The University of Texas at Arlington is a comprehensive research, teaching and public service institution whose mission is the advancement of knowledge and the pursuit of excellence. U.S. News and World Report ranked UTA as the third largest destination in the nation for transfer students based on its 2015 survey of undergraduate programs.

Our goal through Collaborate UTA, and other efforts, is for every graduate of UTA to have refined those skills so that when they graduate they will have a competitive advantage in whatever path they choose.
