The year has been a busy time for the QEP! We refined our QEP in line with SACSCOC recommendations and we began to implement the plan. We started with one Professional Learning Community (PLC) with 11 faculty from four different colleges reaching around 1200 students in their courses.
We held our fist colloquium in April 2017 where we heard from Dr. Paul Paulus on the Keys to Successful Teamwork and the PLC Faculty Fellows preented their research in a poster session. You can find links to their posters here. You can also see some videos of several of the courses here.
In fall 2018 we'll be developing Professional Learning Communities across campus centered around enhancing and assessing teamwork. Many of the experiential learning opportunities that are part of the Maverick Advantage involve teamwork, and our goal is to enhance and assess those opportunities leading to a more fulfilling experience for the students and faculty.
