Seed Grant

Teamwork Seed Grant Awardees

Collaborate UTA in conjunction with the Center for Research on Teaching and Learning Excellence (CRTLE) initiated a seed grant program to promote research on Teaching and Learning and Enhancing and Assessing Teamwork. Our goal is that this research will benefit both faculty and students, and eventually lead to larger grants. We are pleased to recognize the following faculty who were awarded Seed Grants from Collaborate UTA:

Alicia Rueda-Acedo, College of Liberal Arts, The Voices of Migrant Families: Testimonio, Service Learning, and Community Translation, $2,500

Jaya Davis, College of Liberal Arts and Holly Hungerford-Kresser, College of Education, Utilizing Service Learning to Increase Student Engagement Post-Pandemic, $5,000

Catherine A. LaBrenz School of Social Work, Tracy Orwig, School of Social Work, Laura Kunkel, College of Nursing and Health Innovation, Micki Washburn, School of Social Work, and  Joo Hi Lee, College of Education, Developing and Implementing an Interprofessional Education Module on Identifying and Responding to Child Maltreatment, $5,000
