There are several ways in which alumni and friends of The University of Texas at Arlington can support students and faculty in the Department of Sociology and Anthropology. Those interested in making a donation can click on the "Give" button below.  They can also email Jacob Singletary (Director of Development for the College of Liberal Arts) or Dr. Beth Anne Shelton (Chair of the Department of Sociology and Anthropology).  

The Sociology and Anthropology Excellence Fund can be used to support our faculty and students in many ways - for example, in helping students and faculty to offset the cost of gathering and analyzing data and attending academic conferences or in helping students to participate in Anthropology field schools.  

People can also contribute to the Blaine T. and Jean W. Williams Endowed Scholarship in Sociology, which is awarded annually to a student majoring in Sociology, or to the Music Detour project, which is a free public resource that archives local music.
