Food Pantry
About the Pantry
On-campus food pantries are becoming more of a need on campuses across the nation. The UTA Tri-C Food Pantry provides students with the opportunity to receive a mixture of non-perishable foods to supplement their monthly food costs. The Food Pantry is open to any UTA Student, Faculty or Staff member with a UTA I.D.
Donations
To donate to the Food Pantry or if you are interest in conducting a food drive, please contact the Follet Student Leadership Center to receive a list of foods currently in need and to schedule drop-off.
Please email utafoodpantry@gmail.com to schedule a pick up time and include the following:
- Student/Faculty/Staff Name
- Last four (4) digits of your UTA ID
- Requested grocery pickup time
- Choice of "vegetarian", "chicken", or "any meat" groceries
Food items typically in need include:
- Shelf stable milk
- Boxes of cereal (medium sized boxes)
- Boxes of instant oatmeal
- Jars of spaghetti sauce*
- Packages of pasta
- Cans of tuna and or chicken
- Canned fruit
- Canned vegetables*
- Soups*
- Crackers*
- Mac & Cheese*
- Peanut Butter*
*Denotes greatest need currently.
Host a Food Drive
Student organizations or departments interested in hosting a food drive for The Food Pantry are encouraged to contact the Follett Student Leadership Center before advertising your food drive to receive information on helpful practices.
Food Distribution
The UTA Volunteers and Tri-C Food Pantry is open for distributions at the Tri-C Campus Ministries location.

To support current social distancing, the UTA Food Pantry will distribute every Thursday based on appointment pick up times.
