Judicial Branch

The Judicial Branch is responsible for settling disputes between the other branches of the Student Government, managing the Program Assistance Fund, and coordinating Campus Elections.

About us

Led by the Chief Justice, the Judicial Branch consists of the Supreme Court, who serve as the hearing panel for any issues that may arise from the Program Assistance Fund and Campus Elections, and clerks, who help assist the Supreme Court as needed. The Judicial Branch meets every other Monday at 3pm.

Program Assistance Funds

The Program Assistance Fund (PAF) is a supplemental resource for organizations to support events benefiting the UTA community. Applicants must submit a detailed Excel budget and a presentation about the event. They must also present a five-minute argument to the Supreme Court on the event's benefits to the organization and university. PAF funds complement the organization's existing funding. Application details and criteria are available via the provided links.
