students on campus tour

Have you visited the UT Arlington campus recently, or has it been years since you’ve driven “through” on Cooper Street? Take a campus tour and see for yourself why UT Arlington is now considered an emerging national research university. Tours for guests and prospective students depart from the Dan Dipert University Welcome Center — located 600 S. Center Street — office hours are Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm and Saturday, 9 am to 2 pm.

As a member of the Maverick community, you are invited to join UT Arlington’s on-campus fitness center, the Maverick Activities Center (MAC). Open since fall 2007, you’ll find all the amenities of a national fitness center chain at competitive rates. In addition to working out in the 20,000-square-foot weight and fitness room, you can take a Yoga class, play racquetball, or join many other year-round activities.

With respect to Mr. Dewey, the UT Arlington Central Library’s collection of more than 1.2 million volumes is only the beginning. Friendly staff can help you explore periodicals, Internet resources and the world-renowned Special Collections of historic maps, photos and documents of the Southwest. Located in the heart of campus adjacent to the parking garage, the Central Library offers free walk-in access to any Arlington resident. Students (9–12) and educators (K–12) can receive free library cards with valid ID.

student scholarships

At UT Arlington, our goal is more than to merely provide our students an education so they can land their first job. We impart the knowledge and skills they need for a successful career and life. We want to help you make that investment in yourself too. Many merit- and need-based financial aid and scholarship programs are tailored for students and their families.
