CollegeTown for Neighbors

CollegeTown for Businesses

People in Your Neighborhood

Think of the people who live in your neighborhood. Maybe he’s an architect or a teacher; maybe she’s an accountant or nurse. Maybe your children attend school together or your parents have played golf together for years. Maybe you are friends who haven’t yet met.

The Maverick Community

If you’ve lived in North Texas even less than a decade, you’ve seen for yourself the tremendous changes to The University of Texas at Arlington campus. Buildings in which new technologies are developed – for constructing stronger bridges or creating smarter surgical tools – spread from the center of campus to just south of Abram. Residence halls and apartments flank the campus’ east and west sides. Community-building initiatives such as the beautification of Greek Row, sponsorship of WiFi at the Levitt Pavilion and the Green at College Park - a campus park along the Center Street Trail System that encourages old and new friends to come and stay awhile.

We’re proud to have been a part of the neighborhood for more than 117 years. And on behalf of the architects, teachers, accountants, nurses, students and golfers at The University of Texas at Arlington, we hope you’ll be a part of our Maverick Community.
