H1N1 Flu Advisory No. 4

Web Site Posts New Resources and FAQ Section

The University of Texas at Arlington continues to operate on a normal schedule, and no students screened by the University's Health Services clinic have tested positive for the H1N1 influenza virus. University officials are in close contact with local, state and federal officials and are prepared to respond with a range of measures to any indication of the illness affecting our campus community.

Find answers to frequently asked questions about the H1N1 virus posted at our campus flu information Web site and other helpful links to information updated by national and regional health officials, among others.

We also are asking managers and campus facility supervisors to post preventive information particularly in public areas to help educate our community about ways we can avoid the spread of illness. Click here to download informational fliers prepared by the Red Cross. Most importantly, students, faculty and staff are urged to continue to frequently wash their hands and to stay home if they are ill.

In the event of an emergency, UT Arlington will communicate through the MavAlert notification system. Please go to to confirm your contact information and set your preferences for receiving e-mail, text and voice mail messages.
