UT Arlington to open as scheduled Thursday, February 11

UT Arlington's main campus and the UT Arlington Fort Worth Center will open on time today, Feb. 11, while officials continue to monitor winter weather conditions.

At this time, tonight's 6 p.m. Maverick Speaker Series lecture featuring Earvin "Magic" Johnson is expected to take place as scheduled at Texas Hall. Tickets are required for the event, which is now sold out. Please continue to monitor communications for any possible change to this status.

Please continue to monitor your e-mail, the University's home page, and local media outlets for the latest information during any weather event. Additionally, the University's Emergency Information Hotline at 1-866-258-4913 is always updated as to the current status of University operations.

Please note that additional communications will be forthcoming only as changing weather conditions may mandate. Otherwise, all operations will be considered to be on standard schedules.
