University College dedication moved to Palo Duro Lounge

Due to the continued threat of inclement weather, today's dedication ceremony for University College has been moved to the Palo Duro Lounge in the E.H. Hereford University Center.

UT System Chancellor Francisco Cigarroa is the guest speaker for the 2 p.m. ceremony. President James D. Spaniolo and Provost Donald R. Bobbitt will provide the welcome and offer remarks about University College.

Built in 1919, the newly remodeled Ransom Hall is now home to University College, which brings academic advising, tutoring, supplemental instruction, and a range of counseling services under one roof.

Following the dedication, refreshments and self-guided tours will be available. Staff and students from University College will be at stations throughout Ransom Hall with information.
