Today's annual faculty and staff cookout moves to Palo Duro Lounge

With rain in the forecast for lunch time today, Friday, April 20, the annual faculty and staff cookout moves indoors. Head to the Palo Duro Lounge in the E.H. Hereford University Center for the lunch 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.

The cookout is a good way to learn more about the UTA Starts With U campaign. Faculty and staff who give to any area or program become members of the Nedderman Society, a special recognition organization named for Dr. and Mrs. Wendell Nedderman to honor their spirit and dedication to the University and its students.

You can contribute to UT Arlington by check or cash, credit/debit card at, or payroll deduction. Visit the site to learn more about giving and the difference you can make. Last year, 443 faculty and staff members gave more than $394,000 in support of University programs.

The cookout, presented by the Office of Development, honors society members and provides information for future members.
