Town Hall Meeting scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 27, at Texas Hall with Dr. Vistasp M. Karbhari, finalist for University president

The sole finalist for the presidency of The University of Texas at Arlington, Dr. Vistasp M. Karbhari, will visit campus this week with his wife Lisa to meet with students, faculty, staff, alumni, and community leaders.

An important aspect of Dr. Karbhari’s visit will be a town hall-style meeting this Wednesday, Feb. 27, from 3 to 4:30 p.m. at Texas Hall.

The meeting will provide an opportunity for the University community to meet and get to know Dr. Karbhari, as well as to learn more about his initial impressions of UT Arlington. Dr. Karbhari will make brief opening remarks and will then engage in a conversation with the audience.

The UT System Board of Regents named Dr. Karbhari the sole finalist for the presidency Feb. 14. Additional information about Dr. Karbhari may be found in the news release issued earlier this month, as well as in his curriculum vitae.
