UT Arlington offers classes, bootcamps to prepare high school students for SAT

ARLINGTON - High school students can brush up on reading, writing and mathematics for the SAT college entrance exam at The University of Texas at Arlington in May and June.

Programs for critical reading and writing and for math are offered in once-a-week, four week classes or intense four-day boot camps. Four-week classes begin in May. The bootcamps are two-and-a-half hour daily and start in June.

Course fees are $109 and held at the UT Arlington Center for Continuing Education and Workforce Development, 140 W. Mitchell St.

The SAT preparation courses are:

  • SAT: Critical Reading and Writing, 5:30-8 p.m. Mondays, May 4-June 1.
  • SAT: Math, 6:30-9 p.m. Wednesdays, May 6-27.
  • SAT: Math Bootcamp, 6:30-9 p.m. Monday-Thursday, June 8-11.
  • SAT: Critical Reading and Writing Bootcamp, 5:30-8 p.m. Monday-Thursday, June 15-18.
