Emerging artists show work in Gallery at UTA

ARLINGTON - The public will have the opportunity to see work from 41 emerging artists Nov. 30 through Dec. 12 at the Gallery at UTA in the Fine Arts Building, 502 S.  Cooper St.
The Bachelor of Fine Arts Exhibition is a showcase for recent work created by the graduating seniors of The University of Texas at Arlington Department of Art and Art History. The 2009 exhibition features work in a wide variety of concentrations including painting, drawing, sculpture, ceramics, glass, printmaking, video, visual communication, photography and digital imaging.
There will be an opening reception from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 4. The reception and the exhibit are free. Gallery hours are 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. Saturday.
