    Are you going to be new to campus this summer or fall?  Attend an orientation for new Mavericks.  Orientation is required for all incoming freshmen, and is also required for some transfer students.  Even if you are a transfer student who is not required to attend, we still recommend it!  Come get oriented to everything.

    Maverick Stampede

    Maverick Stampede (a.k.a. Welcome Week) is the official kick-off to the new academic year. This first week of classes is filled with fun and exciting programs centered on integrating new and returning students back to campus. Students are given the opportunity to participate in events throughout the week that will allow them to experience tradition, engage with their academic departments, meet other students, and overall become familiar with campus.
