Infrastructure and Civil Engineering

ICE Division

The University of Texas at Arlington Research Institute Infrastructure and Civil Engineering (ICE) efforts are focused in developing computational methods to predict the performance of structures under different types of loading. Some recent developments include:

crack initiation sites Multi-scale modeling of Integral Abutment Bridge to determine micro-cracks in piles due to thermos-mechanical fatigue.

We are constantly looking for collaborators from academia, industry or national labs. Experimental approaches that complement our computational techniques are of particular interest.
