Generative AI Guidelines for Instruction

The GenAI for Instruction Guidelines document is now online and available for faculty to use in course instruction. Access this document for guidance on UTA's stance on GenAI in the classroom, managing the use of GenAI in teaching, suggested syllabus statements, and the ethics in using GenAI in teaching and learning.

Syllabus Student Learning Outcomes Project

This academic year we are launching a significant university-wide project in the Center for Research on Teaching and Learning Excellence (CRTLE) together with the Division of Faculty Affairs, and Institutional Effectiveness and Reporting. The project is the Syllabus Student Learning Outcomes Project, where the goal is helping faculty review their syllabi and write (re-write) educationally sound and measurable student learning outcomes for their courses.

On March 29th, CRTLE partcipated in the campuswide Accessibility Day by hosting a session focused on what faculty can do to understand and provide meaningful support to create a learning environment that promotes a sense of belonging and support academic success for all students.
