Weather at UTA

UTA Weather Station is an independent weather sensing instrument located on the roof of the Chemistry and Physics Building on UTA's Campus. The instrument provides important weather information to the UTA Observatory, including wind speed and outside humidity.

 

Weather information provided on this page is for research and general public use. Official UTA emergency information, closures, and delays as a result of weather will be announced via MavAlert and on the main www.uta.edu website.

UTA's Weather Station

The weather station is a Davis Instruments Vantage 2 Pro Plus model, equipped with an anemometer, rain collector, temperature, and humidity sensors as well as solar radiation and UV sensors.
