| Welcome to UTeach Arlington! |
| UTeach Arlington is the new science and
mathematics secondary teacher preparation program at The University of
Texas
at Arlington. Thanks to grant funding from Texas Instruments,
The Texas Education Agency, The National Math and Science Initiative,
and The
UTeach Institute, plus very strong support from The University
of Texas at Arlington, UTeach Arlington launched in the fall of 2010.
The UTeach Arlington program features early field experiences in K-12 schools, guidance from Master Teachers, and scholarship and internship opportunities. In fact, every student who completes the introductory STEP 1 and STEP 2 courses with a passing grade will receive a $125 scholarship for each course, just for giving teaching a try!
