UTeach Program

UTeach program scholarships are funded by our partners and donors to support outstanding students and further the production of quality STEM educators. Scholarships are open to all students in the program who have completed Step 1; some scholarships may have additional eligibility requirements. Individual award amounts vary, ranging from $1,000 to $5,500.

Students who are within two years of graduation may apply for the National Science Foundation Robert Noyce Teacher Scholarship Program. Noyce scholars receive a one-year $10,000 scholarship, renewable for a second year. Recipients must commit to teach in a high-need school district two years for each year of scholarship support. Scholars attend bi-monthly Learning Academy Seminars addressing topics pertinent to STEM education.

Applications are typically accepted in late spring. Visit the Noyce website for details.

TEACH Grant

The federal Teacher Education Assistance for College and Higher Education (TEACH) Grant awards up to $3,752 per year. Recipients must commit to teach in a low-income school for four years.
