A special night for a special purpose
Dear UTA Alumni,
UTA friends and family gathered last week to support the more than 3,000 students from the Texas coast affected by Hurricane Harvey. All proceeds from the Maverick Speakers Series event featuring Corpus Christi native and UTA alumnus Lou Diamond Phillips will go to the Emergency Assistance Fund and will be used to provide basic necessities for students during times of hardship.
Please stay involved and get connected with your alma mater — whether it's a networking event or a special time together like UTA Night at the Rangers or UTA Day at the Zoo. Take another look at what your Alumni Relations team is doing to support the UTA family.
Sincerely,
Julie Barfield
Executive Director of Alumni Relations
