
The College of Engineering will conduct its fall commencement ceremonies on Saturday, December 13 at 12:30 p.m.
Graduating students should have applied for graduation either through the Registrar's Office or the Graduate School before submitting a ceremony reservation to the College of Engineering.
Graduating students are asked to gather in the atrium of Nedderman Hall at least one hour before the scheduled starting time to assemble for the procession to Texas Hall.
Graduating students must submit a reservation form to participate in the commencement ceremony. Please complete and submit one of these forms by Friday, December 5:
Bachelor's degree candidates
Master's degree candidates
Doctoral degree candidates
Parents and friends of graduating students are invited to attend the College of Engineering commencement ceremonies. Everyone is also invited to a reception in the atrium of Nedderman Hall following the ceremony.
Guests and friends must have tickets to enter Texas Hall; tickets to the event are free. Graduating students may pickup eight (8) tickets in the Dean’s Office beginning in mid November. Tickets not issued by Friday, December 12 at 3:30 pm will be available at Texas Hall on Saturday.

Only those students eligible to graduate in the current semester are permitted to participate in the commencement ceremony. Requests for exemption from this policy must be submitted in writing, explaining the specific situation; send exemption requests to commencement@engineering.uta.edu by Monday, December 1.
Graduating students must wear regalia for the ceremony. The UT Arlington Bookstore has bachelor's and master's regalia available for purchase and doctoral regalia for rent. Please secure your regalia as soon as possible.
