What is ARL?

The Apartment and Residence Life staff works hard to make on-campus students feel at home. The programs and services provided assist in creating a smooth transition into the UT Arlington Community.

ARL works closely with housing staff to provide a safe and supportive environment for all residents.

A Buzzing Community Life

ARL hosts hundreds of events and activities perfect for students staying on campus to meet their neighbors and have learning experiences outside the classroom.

A portion of the money you pay for rent goes directly back into your community as funds available for student leaders to organize engagement opportunities and events. Possibilities range from leadership involvement, intramural sports, club teams, interest floors, learning communities geared around your major, and more ways to have the complete college experience!

Multiple Ways to Get Involved

Consider joining in on the fun by getting involved with ARL!

Resident Assistants coordinate events specifically geared around student interests to help them interact socially, make friends, and learn the skills necessary to live on their own after graduation.

Each residence hall has a Hall Council to provide a representative body for students living in residence halls. Hall Councils are provided with hall funds to host building-wide events assisting you with adjusting to college life, maintaining your academics, and connecting with other students.

Visit the How to Get Involved page for more ways to be a part of these exciting leadership experiences!
